8Enter two other Soldiers.
9Second SoldierSoldiers, have careful watch.
10Third SoldierAnd you. Good night, good night. They place themselves in every corner of the stage.
11Fourth SoldierHere we: and if to-morrow
Our navy thrive, I have an absolute hope
Our landmen will stand up.
12Third Soldier’Tis a brave army,
And full of purpose. Music of the hautboys as under the stage.
13Fourth SoldierPeace! what noise?
14First SoldierList, list!
15Second SoldierHark!
16First SoldierMusic i’ the air.
17Third SoldierUnder the earth.
18Fourth SoldierIt signs well, does it not?
19Third SoldierNo.
20First SoldierPeace, I say!

21Second Soldier’Tis the god Hercules, whom Antony loved,
Now leaves him.
